My cooking success!

Tonight, I attempted my first ever Korean dish, its the Korean Spicy Chicken and Potato (Tak Toritang). It was very tasty and so easy to make!

Here is a list of the ingredients:

4 chicken thighs
2-3 potatoes
2-3 carrots
1 onion
ginger
garlic
3 tablespoons of hot pepper paste (guchojang)
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
a splash of sesame oil
1 teaspoon of sugar
Around 60mls of water

Chop potatoes, carrots, onion into large chunks. Skin the thighs and slice flat and debone. Pan fry the thighs, ginger and garlic in vegetable oil over a medium heat till slight brown, then stir in the potatoes, onions, carrots. Add the hot pepper paste, light soy, sugar. Give it a gentle stir, then add water. Cook on a low heat for around 20 mins. The meat should be tender and the vegetables soft. Add the sesame oil just before dishing up.

Easy eh?! Yeah, it doesn't take much effort really! I will find more dishes to cook no matter the kind of cuisine, just want to cook more! :P Tonight's dinner was lovely!
